Whirlpool 3rd-quarter earnings slip on antitrust plea deals

The Canadian Press – BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – A plea deal related to price-fixing charges pulled Whirlpool Corp.’s third-quarter net income down 9 per cent, but its results surpassed Wall Street’s view.
