Greece tightens security ahead of anti-austerity demos

AFP – THESSALONIKI, Greece (AFP) – Greek officials drafted in an extra 4,000 officers to the northern city of Thessaloniki ahead of protests against the socialist government’s austerity programme, police said Friday.
